(Instructions in English and Spanish ---see bottom)



My lab is lab B-31 at the "Facultad de Medicina", near "Hospital La Paz" (close to Plaza de Castilla). This is important: this is Madrid itself (not Cantoblanco, where most of UAM's campus is located). 


The following are detailed (maybe too detailed?) instructions, assuming you come from the Metro station at Hospital La Paz (this is the "Begoña" station, exit "La Paz"). 


Coming from the Metro station at "Begoña" you'll likely enter from the door located at the Pedro Rico street, located in front of the "Urgencias" and "Maternidad" entries of Hospital La Paz; very close to it is a much larger door, that has access for cars, at the Arzobispo Morcillo street. 


Once you enter into the Facultad de Medicina, you will see the big parking lot. Cross it, walking towards the area of buildings, and go to the covered court. When you get to the central area you will see the Biblioteca on your right and the Decanato on your left. Take the stairs that go down in front of you. You will arrive at the building where classes themselves are taught. Once you enter there, you will see on your left several vending machines and on the right several posting boards. Walk for about 5 meters and you will cross a wide (~ 2.5 meters) corridor; cut the corridor (i.e., walk another 2 meters :-) and open a big, gray, metallic door. This gives you access to a corridor that has red doors on the right and windows on the left. Walk to the end of that corridor. Open another big, gray, metallic door. You'll arrive at an intersection of corridors, and you'll see restrooms on your right. Walk another 4 meters, and take the big, metallic door on your right. My lab is the second door on the left in that corridor.

Mi laboratorio es el B-31 de la Facultad de Medicina, cerca del Hospital La Paz (o sea, en Madrid, no en Cantoblanco). 


Estas son unas indicaciones de cómo llegar, suponiendo que vengas de La Paz (y esto lo hace parecer complicado, pero de verdad que no lo és; simplemente es una descripción con muuuuucho detalle). 


Y para venir de La Paz puedes coger el Metro y bajarte en la parada de Begoña, en la salida del Hospital La Paz. (Hay autobuses también, pero ni idea). 


Cuando entres en la facultad, dirígete al patio cubierto, que deja a la izqda el decanato y a la derecha la biblioteca. Vaya, esto está en frente del sitio por el que entras en la facultad. 


Una vez ahí baja unas escaleras hacia el edificio de aulas. Nada más entrar verás a tu izquierda unas máquinas de bocadillos/bebidas/etc, y a tu derecha dos corcheras grandes. 


Eso corta en perpendicular un gran pasillo, donde están todas las aulas principales. Tienes que seguir de frente, cruzando una puerta gris metálica de dos hojas y seguir por ese pasillo (que a su derecha tiene puertas y a su izquierda ventanas) hasta el final. Cruza la siguiente puerta metálica, y a tu derecha estarán los aseos. Anda 4 metros, y abre la puerta grande, metálica, a tu derecha. Mi laboratorio es la segunda puerta a la izquierda en ese pasillo.
